Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in the ICU where you'll be critical to managing a variety of complex cases, including trauma, cardiac issues, sepsis, strokes, and respiratory distress. This shift involves 12-hour night assignments at a facility that boasts 33 beds with an average daily census of 16. You’ll work closely with a team providing titratable drips such as cardiac medications, insulin, and sedatives, ensuring patient stability and recovery. The role offers the chance to refine your skills in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities that go beyond routine care—troubleshooting ventilators and monitoring sophisticated equipment such as GE monitors and ventilators is part of your routine. Expect to collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to provide seamless patient support. The assignment features self-scheduling for core staff, with accommodations for holiday coverage and every other weekend shifts.
