Job Description:

This travel contract offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant obstetrics department that emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork. As a registered nurse on this assignment, you will be responsible for supporting women during labor and delivery in 10 spacious and private LDRP rooms, where mothers labor and deliver in the same bed. The role involves circulating during C-sections, managing laboring patients, and assisting with bedside newborn care, including supporting skin-to-skin contact and early bonding. The setting is known for its collaborative staff and commitment to safety, being recognized as a 'Safe Sleep Champion.' Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing essential support during high-acuity moments in the maternity ward. This role is suitable for a nurse with strong IV skills, C-section experience, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment that values patient comfort and safety.
