Job Description:

This Registered Nurse contract in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers a hands-on experience managing patients with mixed acuity levels, including post-cardiac procedures, MI management, and telemetry monitoring. You'll be the key player in a 44-bed unit, handling direct admits, ED cases, and post-surgical patients during 12-hour night shifts. If you’re comfortable interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering titratable cardiac medications, and managing chest tubes, this role is a perfect fit—minus the daytime snooze button. Expect to support a team with peripheral blood draws, cardiac monitoring confirmation, and occasional student precepting, all while working with Epic and other hospital tech.

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
