Job Description:

Join our Neuro ICU team in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week travel contract that offers a chance to hone critical care skills in a high-acuity environment. This assignment is perfect for RNs experienced with ventriculostomy management, NIH Stroke Scale, ventilators, arterial and central lines, and acute stroke treatment including TPA. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts, floating to various units when needed, with a patient ratio of 1:2 in an 18-bed Neuro ICU. Expect to titrate drips, interpret Phillips telemetry strips, and support patients through complex neurological recoveries. The unit employs a seasoned charge nurse and house supervisor around the clock to assist with your schedule.
