Job Description:

This short-term contract offers a chance for registered nurses experienced in medical-surgical, telemetry, and step-down units to step into a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital setting. You'll be managing high-acuity patients, including post-op open heart cases, cystic fibrosis, and ventilated patients. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts, with a focus on caring for patients who require extended stays before standard discharge options are considered. The environment is fast-paced yet rewarding, offering the opportunity to hone your skills in a specialty setting that demands quick thinking and precision. It's a chance to work with a diverse caseload, including sepsis cases and complex ventilator weaning, all while utilizing your critical care expertise in a hospital that handles some of the region’s most challenging cases.

Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks (approximately 36 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $1,990.23 gross per week
