Job Description:

This Registered Nurse role in the Progressive Care Unit offers a hands-on experience caring for a diverse mix of patients, from those recovering post-surgery to those managing complex conditions like COPD, CHF, or renal failure. You'll work in a 36-48 bed unit, managing multiple acuity levels, with the opportunity to engage in comprehensive line and medication management, interpret telemetry readings, and perform wound and skin care. The assignment involves 12-hour day shifts, providing a thorough immersion into high-level patient monitoring and support in a hospital setting that keeps you on your toes without the patient load of a critical care unit. Whether you're adjusting titratable vasopressors or managing IV lines, this position challenges your skills while offering a chance to work with a cohesive team that values your expertise. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work with Epic, one of the leading electronic health record systems, ensuring a seamless charting experience.
