Job Description:

Join a specialized behavioral health unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll work with adolescents aged 14-17 in a converted area dedicated to mental health care. Your role involves managing four private rooms, each with a bed, and maintaining an average daily census of four patients. The unit cares for a diverse age range, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with staffing ratios of 1:2 during days, nights, and weekends. This assignment features a 4-day workweek with 12-hour daytime shifts from 06:30 to 19:00. You'll utilize the Pyxis medication system and document care in Cerner, communicating effectively via SBAR. Previous experience with CPI is preferred but not mandatory. Scrubs are required in navy blue, but are not provided.
