Job Description:

Join us in this engaging travel healthcare contract working on a 12-hour day shift schedule at a 12-bed unit located in the vibrant Corpus Christi Bay Area. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of 9 RNs, 2 new grads in orientation, and 1 nurse educator, focusing on routine assessments, fetal monitoring, vital signs, and finger sticks. The unit is equipped with Baxter IV pumps and GE fetal monitors, utilizing the Meditech electronic medical record system. Expect to care for antepartum patients and postpartum mothers, with patient ratios of 3-4 per RN, providing an ideal environment for nurses who are outgoing, eager, and confident. Your certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and IFM are essential, and previous labor and delivery experience is preferred. The unit values professionalism and teamwork, with weekend shifts required and four shifts every four weeks. This assignment offers a chance to enhance your skills in a fast-paced, supportive setting while experiencing the unique rhythm of the Corpus Christi community.
