Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Springfield as a medical-surgical registered nurse specializing in urology and nephrology. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work night shifts (12-hour nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) on a 25-bed unit with a typical daily census of 23 patients. You'll be responsible for managing a variety of medical-surgical cases, including renal failure and pre/post-hemodialysis care, while utilizing telemetry and emergency response skills. You'll also have opportunities to float within the medical-surgical scope to meet facility needs and experience a mix of procedures using Cerner charting. The role requires a minimum of two years of RN experience, BLS certification, and an active Illinois RN license. This assignment provides a hands-on experience in a Magnet-recognized facility with a Level I trauma designation, where you'll contribute directly to patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
