Job Description:

Join a busy Labor & Delivery unit that handles high-risk obstetrics in Henderson, Nevada. As a nurse here, you'll be working 12-hour night shifts, circulating and recovering your own C-section patients, and providing care for both low- and high-risk laboring moms. You'll need to be confident with vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and managing high-acuity antepartum and delivery patients. This role offers a chance to experience a true level 3 high-risk environment with in-house neonatology and anesthesia available 24/7. Expect to perform titrated drips such as Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin, coordinate care with ancillary staff, and read fetal monitor strips effectively. The unit is well-equipped, and you'll float as needed to postpartum, offering variety and a comprehensive obstetric experience. The three-day orientation will prepare you for this independent and fast-paced environment, and you'll be part of a team dedicated to high-quality maternal and neonatal care.
