Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work within a busy Short Term Acute Care facility that features a Level II Trauma Center. As a float nurse, you will assist on multiple units, providing essential staffing support in a fast-paced environment. The role involves night shifts, specifically 12-hour overnight hours from 19:00 to 07:00, with a commitment of approximately 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable adapting to different clinical areas and carrying a patient ratio of around 1:5. Expect a professional setting that emphasizes team collaboration, while allowing you to experience the dynamic atmosphere of acute care nursing. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care across various hospital departments.
