Job Description:

Join us as a Respiratory Care Therapist in a critical care setting, where you'll provide essential respiratory support to adult patients experiencing conditions like ARDS, aspiration, COVID-19, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia. This role involves managing airways through advanced devices, administering medications via various inhalation systems, and operating ventilators such as BiPAP and CPAP. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, primarily on weekends, in a busy emergency and adult critical care unit. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment, assisting with complex procedures like intubation, extubation, and bronchoscopies, while troubleshooting ventilator alarms and weaning patients off mechanical support. Your skills in ABG interpretation and pulmonary hygiene will be vital to patient recovery and comfort, making this an engaging and impactful contract for experienced respiratory therapists.
