Job Description:

Join a rewarding RN contract working on 12-hour day shifts at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, TN. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive nursing care on a busy Medical/Surgical unit, caring for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as pneumonia, CVA, post-surgical needs, and electrolyte imbalances. The unit, with a current patient load of up to 18 (soon increasing to 24), emphasizes critical thinking and teamwork. You'll be responsible for managing patient needs using Medhost EHR, performing procedures with equipment like bladder scanners and glucometers, and adhering to unit protocols. Travel nurses must have required certifications including BLS, and must be prepared to meet the facility’s standard of patient care with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.
