Job Description:

Join our team at Mission Hospital’s Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit in Asheville, NC, for an engaging travel assignment focusing on advanced cardiac and vascular surgery recovery. This role involves managing patients who have undergone complex open heart procedures, thoracic surgeries, and vascular interventions, including even some thoracotomies and aneurysm repairs. You'll be right in the thick of the action, monitoring post-operative patients with equipment like Baxter IV pumps and CADD epidural devices, while participating in procedures such as chest tube management and epidural care. The ideal traveler will enjoy a fast-paced setting, balancing technical skill with teamwork, all while helping to ensure smooth recovery for critically ill cardiovascular patients.
