Job Description:

Join our surgical team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in Ambulatory Procedures. In this role, you'll support a variety of specialties including Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and GI procedures. Expect to prepare patients preoperatively by reviewing their histories, managing medications, establishing IV lines, and ensuring they are ready for surgery. During procedures, you'll monitor vital signs and assist the surgical team as needed. Post-operation, you'll oversee patient recovery, monitoring vital signs, reviewing discharge instructions, and facilitating patient discharge via wheelchair. This is a fast-paced environment where your versatility in different surgical specialties will be vital. The schedule features four 10-hour days, with some scheduled late shifts and potential for floating within the perioperative unit. The role offers a chance to work in a dynamic, patient-centered setting with a collaborative team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR nurses.
