Job Description:

Join a specialized telemetry step-down unit as a registered nurse, where your expertise will be vital in managing patients recovering from complex surgeries such as bariatric procedures, urological surgeries with CBI, hepatobiliary operations, colorectal surgeries, and trauma cases. This role involves caring for patients with multiple drains, wound vacs, and central lines, often requiring advanced skills like interpreting dysrhythmias, managing epidurals, PCA, and initiating IVs. The work setting offers an engaging opportunity to apply your critical thinking and technical proficiency in a dynamic hospital environment, with a focus on post-operative pain management and complex wound care. Expect a schedule of day shifts with 12-hour shifts, providing a good balance of work and time off to explore the vibrant city around you.
