Job Description:

Join a prestigious tertiary care hospital as a registered nurse in our Medical-Surgical Step-Down Unit (MSDU). In this role, you'll work the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 12-hour schedule, providing critical care to adult patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. This is a dynamic environment where you'll interpret dysrhythmias, manage complex cardiac issues, and utilize EPIC charting software to document your care. The unit's patient ratio ranges from 1:5 to 1:7, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience that hones your clinical skills. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a setting that balances acuity with patient comfort. This 13-week contract offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise in a high-acuity area while exploring the vibrant cityscape around Rochester.
