Job Description:

Join our team as a Surgical Technologist specializing in cardiac surgeries at a renowned Level 1 trauma hospital with a dedicated CVOR unit. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting complex procedures such as coronary artery bypass, valve replacements, and thoracoscopy with da Vinci assistance. You'll work alongside experienced staff in a 15-bed OR with a patient ratio of 1:1, ensuring precise instrument handling and maintaining a sterile field during high-stakes operations. This assignment offers the chance to utilize advanced equipment and cutting-edge techniques while playing a vital part in life-saving surgeries. Daily, you'll prepare surgical instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and assist during various phases of cardiac, vascular, neuro/spine, and burn procedures. Highly qualified candidates will demonstrate strong knowledge of cardiac surgery protocols, possess current certifications, and be comfortable taking on a lead role in diverse surgical specialties. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Job Specifics:

Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Shift: 10-hour days, Monday through Friday
