Job Description:

This radiology tech contract offers the chance to work with a variety of imaging modalities, including mammography, ultrasound, and CT, in a hospital setting. Your daily routine will involve performing diagnostic scans such as mammograms and CTs on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients, often scheduled at a comfortable pace of one patient per hour. The role emphasizes hands-on skills like venipuncture, operation of Siemens CT scanners, Phillips ultrasound equipment, and adherence to state certification requirements. Having experience in the operating room or with advanced imaging like tomography enhances your versatility. The schedule typically includes 10-hour days, with opportunities for weekend call depending on your proficiency and certifications. You’ll be part of a dedicated radiology team, working in an environment that values expertise and continual learning. This assignment provides a well-rounded experience in a busy hospital where your technical skills directly support patient diagnosis and care.
