Job Description:
This travel assignment offers an engaging opportunity for a radiologic technologist skilled in both CT and general X-ray procedures. Working in a 16-bed free-standing emergency department in Charlotte, you'll be performing a variety of imaging exams, including portables and CT scans, in a setting that operates 24/7 without trauma designation. Expect to support a department that handles approximately 87 ED visits daily and processes around 60 imaging studies per day. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, providing a focused, steady workflow for those who prefer overnight schedules. Using advanced equipment like Siemens Edge CT and Shimadzu RadSpeed X-ray systems, you will be integral to delivering timely diagnostic images, supporting the ED team with professionalism and precision. This assignment is a perfect fit for someone with at least two years of radiologic technology experience, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has an eye for detail. The unique nature of this role lies in its combination of general radiography and CT scanning, all while contributing to patient care in a dedicated emergency setting.
