Job Description:

This respiratory therapy contract offers a chance to work across a variety of inpatient settings in Bristol, Connecticut, including ICU, ER, L&D, MedSurg, Psych, recovery room, and sleep lab. You'll be responsible for managing patients primarily adults, with occasional pediatric cases, focusing on treatments such as vent management, ABG analysis, assisting with bronchoscopy procedures, and supporting intubations—sometimes independently, sometimes alongside the team. The shifts are scheduled for 12-hour nights, providing a good balance of work and downtime. This assignment emphasizes a diverse skill set and calls for a confident communicator who is flexible and detail-oriented, ready to handle a broad scope of responsibilities in a supportive hospital environment with ample resources.
