Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to work overnight shifts at a busy hospital in Austin, Texas. The role involves administering a wide range of standard respiratory procedures, managing ventilators, performing arterial blood gases, and assisting with intubations and bronchoscopy procedures. You’ll be part of a well-staffed team in a basement-level unit equipped with GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC, collaborating closely with other disciplines to ensure smooth patient support without direct patient care. The shift runs from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a rotating weekend schedule that keeps your work-life balance in check.
