Job Description:

Join a high-acuity ICU team at a prominent hospital in Phoenix, where you'll be working in a 24-bed CTICU/CVICU with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 2, primarily caring for cardiac surgery recovery patients, lung transplants, and ECMO cases. This 13-week contract offers you the chance to utilize your ICU skills in a fast-paced environment, performing bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies and Swans. Expect a challenging yet rewarding role with an emphasis on clinical proficiency, sterile technique, and adaptability as you'll also float to other ICUs and tele units. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing a dedicated block of overnight work that allows for daytime exploring. Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, and preferably CCRN. Experience with IABP and CABG patients is a plus, and strong IV skills are essential. The hospital features a robust staffing model with PCTs to support patient care, and you'll work alongside intensivists on-site during days and on call at night.
