Job Description:

Join our team at a highly active post-surgical care unit located in Wausau, Wisconsin. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment that handles a high volume of surgical admissions, including recoveries after procedures like joint replacements. You'll be responsible for coordinating patient care in a 40-bed inpatient unit, managing pre- and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients, and handling multiple priorities efficiently. This role is perfect for experienced RNs who thrive in a team setting, can adapt to variable shift structures, and possess trauma level II experience. Epic charting, along with experience using Rovers and Alaris pumps, is required. Be prepared to float to all inpatient units and participate in on-call duties, with the opportunity for call-back pay during low census periods. This assignment provides a dynamic yet rewarding environment where your expertise will make a real impact.
