Job Description:

Join a busy ICU team in Rapid City, where you'll be managing complex medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a mixed ICU environment with beds divided into pods, focusing on critically ill patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, and post-traumatic conditions. As an experienced ICU RN, you'll be responsible for ventilator management, proning, hemodynamic monitoring, and IV medication administration in a fast-paced setting. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, with an every-other-weekend rotation, providing a good balance of work and rest. This assignment uniquely combines challenging patient care with the opportunity to work with a supportive team of physicians, intensivists, and resource nurses in a hospital setting.
