Job Description:

This contract position supports a unit preparing for a major electronic medical records transition, specifically the Epic go-live. The role requires prior Cerner and Epic EMR experience, and you'll be expected to self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during your first week. Your daily duties involve delivering high-quality care to patient populations such as Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry, following the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. While not on a regular call schedule, there may be occasional on-call periods requiring you to respond within one hour. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a busy, fast-paced environment during a critical transition period, making each shift a chance to contribute to a significant system upgrade.
