Job Description:

Join a lively telemetry unit as a CVICU nurse, where you'll work with both critically ill and post-cardiac surgery patients. Your role involves assessing patient conditions, interpreting telemetry data, and responding swiftly to any changes. You'll utilize your strong cardiac knowledge and prioritization skills to manage patients across a spectrum of acuity levels. Expect to administer medications such as ICU-level drips—including Levophed, epinephrine, dobutamine, and vasopressin—as well as telemetry drugs like Cardizem, amiodarone, primacor, and diuretics. This assignment offers an engaging experience in a fast-paced setting that values your expertise in cardiac nursing, making each shift both challenging and rewarding.
