Job Description:

Join a prestigious short-term acute care facility in St. Louis as an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) on a 12-hour night shift. This contract offers the chance to work in a high-acuity environment, managing patients with complex conditions such as respiratory failure, multi-organ failure, stroke, and post-transplant care. Your expertise in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing ventilators, providing invasive monitoring, and administering critical medications will be essential. The role features an engaging mix of patient care activities in a magnet and teaching hospital setting, with opportunities to float across ICU units as needed. The shift schedule is a 3x12-hour night rotation, with guaranteed hours and a 13-week duration. Experience in both medical and surgical intensive care units is required, along with current certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NIH. This unique assignment provides exposure to cutting-edge equipment such as CRRT, ventilators, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring, all within a facility renowned for its trauma and specialty care.
