Job Description:

This ICU travel nursing assignment in Kearney, Nebraska, involves caring for adult patients with a variety of complex conditions such as trauma, cardiac issues, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post-stent recovery, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. Nurses will work 12-hour day shifts, focusing on monitoring and managing critical symptoms, titrating cardiac and sedation drips, interpreting telemetry strips, and providing vital support during high-acuity scenarios. This role offers an engaging opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced, 33-bed ICU. You'll work alongside experienced healthcare teams, utilizing ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other critical care equipment, and will be expected to quickly troubleshoot equipment like nasal cannulas and Vents as needed. The assignment emphasizes hands-on expertise in individual patient management while enjoying the challenge of delivering exceptional critical care amidst a supportive environment.
