Job Description:

Join our OB unit in Macomb, Illinois, as a travel healthcare professional and become an essential part of delivering care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery shifts. You’ll work in a facility that handles approximately 300 births annually, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment like fetal monitoring systems and respiratory support tools. Your role will involve titrating medications such as magnesium sulfate and Pitocin, managing common diagnoses like preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and collaborating with a charge nurse and house supervisor. The position offers 12-hour night shifts with flexible scheduling, no on-call duties for travelers, and a brief orientation process. If you’re experienced in labor and postpartum care and hold current NRP and BLS certifications, this assignment provides a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment that emphasizes specialized obstetric care.
