Job Description:

Join a challenging and rewarding 12-hour night shift as a Critical Care RN in Prescott, Arizona, working within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role, you will care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and surgical procedures, including post-cath lab interventions, open-heart surgeries, and managing complex cases like chronic vents and arterial lines. You’ll utilize advanced equipment such as Philips cardiac monitors, telemedicine systems, invasive monitoring tools, and EMR systems like Cerner. Your focus will be on acute patient management in a fast-paced environment, including administering IV cardiac medications, monitoring arrhythmias, and assisting with procedures like sheath pulls and transvenous pacing. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized cardiac care while floating to the ICU or telemetry units, requiring flexibility and clinical expertise. Be ready to bring your minimum 1-year PCU experience, strong EKG skills, and current AZ RN license to this engaging role that keeps your skills sharp and your days fulfilling.
