Job Description:

Join this focused and fast-paced PCU RN contract on the 4th Floor East Wing, where you'll be part of a dedicated team caring for adult and pediatric patients (15 and older). Your shift will be 12 hours from early morning to late evening or vice versa, providing critical support during high-demand hours. Expect to manage patient needs related to conditions such as CVA, TIA, shortness of breath, COVID, and subdural hematoma, often utilizing PCA pumps, insulin, and Cardizem. You'll work with a patient ratio of 1:4 and collaborate with a supportive team including educators, care managers, social workers, and therapists. This assignment offers an engaging chance to hone your telemetry skills in a setting that values responsiveness and teamwork while managing a busy but close-knit unit.
