Job Description:

Join a staffed Medical Acute Care Unit as an RN for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll be part of a team managing a busy general medical unit with 20 beds, serving patients with a variety of diagnoses. Your focus will be on delivering skilled nursing care in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and effective communication are key. The assignment offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience on a unit supported by charge nurses and house supervisors around the clock, with dedicated nurse aides and telemetry monitoring. Expect to handle a patient load with ratios of 1:4 or 5 on days and 1:5 or 6 on nights, with some patients on telemetry monitored via Philips systems. You'll participate in unit-specific orientation and contribute to a collaborative healthcare setting that emphasizes quality care and staff support.
