Job Description:

Join this impressive medical unit for a night shift travel RN position in Peoria, Illinois. You'll support the General Medical unit, working 12-hour night shifts with a focus on general medical patient care. This assignment offers a chance to collaborate with experienced nurses, PCTs, and telemetry staff while honing your teamwork and communication skills. Expect to handle a variety of diagnoses, with a patient ratio of about 1:4 or 1:5 on nights, and be part of a team where charge nurses and house supervisors are present around the clock. The setting provides a balance of independence and support, with orientation covering specific unit protocols. This role stands out for its communal atmosphere and the opportunity to work with telemetry patients on Phillips monitors, without Vent support, in a well-staffed environment where your experience in general medicine will shine.
