Job Description:

This L&D RN position is based in a 19-bed unit dedicated to labor and delivery. The role involves managing high-acuity obstetric patients, with a focus on fetal monitoring and maternal care during your night shifts. Prior travel experience and at least 2 years of L&D experience are required, along with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NRP. You will be handling a patient ratio of 1-2:1, with the opportunity to work with advanced fetal monitoring, including passing the AWHONN intermediate class and potentially earning certification in EFM. Expect to be first to float, possibly to other campuses, in a setting that values team integration and shared responsibilities. Your scheduled call hours are 12 per 6-week cycle, and EMR documentation will be managed through Epic. Scrub color is Galaxy Blue and/or White. All credentials and experience levels will be verified, and a culture of collaboration and professionalism is key to this assignment’s success. You will work a 12-hour night shift, providing essential support during critical obstetric moments, in a setting where your expertise ensures safety and quality of care.
