Job Description:

This opportunity is for a seasoned Registered Nurse Case Manager to take the wheel in an acute hospital setting located in Santa Barbara. You'll be responsible for coordinating patient care activities including utilization management, discharge planning, and post-acute clinical payer authorization. Expect to work Monday through Friday during a 5x8 shift from 07:30 to 16:00, with weekends off. Your expertise will guide patients through complex care pathways, ensuring quality outcomes and cost-effective service delivery. The role uniquely blends hands-on inpatient care coordination with strategic oversight, offering a chance to make a significant impact within a vibrant healthcare team. Experience working with EPIC documentation and utilizing InterQual and Milliman guidelines will be key to your success in this engaging contract.
