Job Description:

This contract position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care on a general med-surg unit. You will utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family education. Effective communication of relevant patient information to the healthcare team ensures quality outcomes. The role may include floating to different units, including the lockdown area, and offers a setting where your clinical skills and problem-solving abilities are essential for maintaining patient well-being. The shift is 12-hour nights, providing an opportunity for immersive, hands-on nursing in a lively hospital environment.
