Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at a respected Birmingham hospital. This contract role involves night shifts of 12 hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, giving you a chance to work with patients recovering from cardiac events and procedures. You'll be responsible for monitoring cardiac patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure smooth patient flow. The assignment offers a stimulating environment where your cardiac expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, all while working within a supportive and organized unit that manages an average of 4 to 5 patients per nurse. The unique mix of advanced cardiac care and a manageable patient load makes this a rewarding opportunity for experienced RN professionals eager to expand their skills.
