Job Description:
Join a dedicated team of respiratory therapists on a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts in Wausau, Wisconsin. In this role, you'll support all patient care areas of the hospital, including emergency services, general care units, and the ED. Your expertise will be essential to managing ventilators, conducting patient assessments, and responding rapidly to urgent situations such as Rapid Response and Code Blue scenarios. You’ll be the go-to professional for critical respiratory support across all age groups, bringing resilience and adaptability to every shift. Job Specifics:
Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Shift: 12-hour nights, 1830-0700
Duration: 13 weeks, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week
Rate: Estimated gross weekly pay of $2,057.22
This role requires prior travel experience, active Wisconsin licensure, and at least three years of experience in respiratory therapy. Candidates must have certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with advanced NRP preferred. NICU experience is a bonus for night shifts. The position supports all hospital unit types and involves providing emergency ventilator and respiratory care, assessing patients, and managing critical care equipment. Travelers will also support low census hours and may be placed on call with compensation for callback shifts. Compliance with vaccination policies during flu season is mandatory, with mask-wearing required for non-vaccinated travelers.
