Job Description:

This night shift ICU nursing contract offers a well-rounded experience caring for critically ill patients in a medically complex environment. You'll manage a variety of general med ICU cases, with some surgical patients, all while working alongside experienced staff including hospitalists and virtual intensivists during overnight hours. The role involves titrating critical drips such as sedation and vasoactive medications, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience. As a primary nurse, you will lead patient care on a dedicated ICU unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Floating within the region to other facilities like St Joseph Medical Center, St. Elizabeth Hospital, or St. Clare Hospital is part of the role, with additional compensation for such assignments. The hospital utilizes Epic electronic health records, and you will have the opportunity to test out of orientation after a full shift. This is a chance to work in a vibrant setting with continuous learning, all while ensuring patients receive top-tier critical care during nighttime hours.
