Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position offers an engaging day-shift experience in a general med/surg unit. As part of this role, you'll work 12-hour daytime shifts, with the opportunity to float within the facility as needed. The assignment involves caring for adult to geriatric patients, managing a typical patient ratio of 1:6, and utilizing systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. Your duties will focus on supporting patient recovery and providing essential nursing care in a fast-paced environment. This assignment provides a chance to hone clinical skills while navigating a lively hospital setting—sometimes feeling like a well-oiled machine with a human touch.
