Job Description:

Join this ICU RN contract in the vibrant city of New Orleans, where you'll be responsible for providing specialized care to trauma patients in a Level I & II facility. This role involves precepting new staff members and working night shifts with a 12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:2 within the ICU, and float coverage is expected within the department. As part of the team, you'll utilize EPIC to document care and ensure smooth patient flow. This assignment offers a chance to experience the unique rhythm of New Orleans while applying your trauma ICU expertise in a busy, fast-paced environment. Scrubs are provided, and strong emphasis is placed on maintaining certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, with additional certifications like CPI, PALS, and TNCC preferred.
