Job Description:

Join us as a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse in a bustling hospital setting, providing specialized care for adult to geriatric patients facing oncology and hematology diagnoses. This contract offers the opportunity to work with patients from diagnosis through end-of-life, managing oncologic emergencies, chemo precautions, and IV drips like morphine, Dilaudid, PCA, and CADD pumps. You'll be part of a supportive team on a night shift with 12-hour shifts, contributing to a unit that generally maintains a census of 15 patients with a 1:6 nursing ratio. Experience in using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR is essential. The role involves floating within the facility and possibly at nearby Piedmont Augusta Summerville, ensuring flexibility and variety in your workday. This assignment offers a chance to hone your oncology nursing skills while working in an environment that values professionalism and resilience.
