Job Description:

Join this engaging ICU Registered Nurse contract where you'll be at the forefront of caring for adult to geriatric patients with complex diagnoses, including sepsis, respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest conditions, and various critical illnesses. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts, providing specialized care in a Medical Surgical ICU setting that handles intense cases such as septic shock, pulmonary diseases, GI bleeds, and dialysis procedures. This assignment offers a chance to hone your skills in advanced interventions like CRRT, TTM, central line management, and continuous infusions, all while working in a collaborative environment with a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio. Expect to utilize systems like Epic and Pyxis, and to engage in procedures ranging from lumbar punctures to chest tube insertions. No weekend shifts or call responsibilities are required, but you'll work during major holidays when needed, with the flexibility to float within the facility.
