Job Description:

Join a busy ICU team as a registered nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Metairie, Louisiana. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing direct patient support to critically ill patients. This role involves floating across ICU units, including Neurology, Medical Surgical, and PACU areas, with some work in the ED and MS/PCU units when needed. Expect to perform lab sticks, EKGs, line starts, and operate advanced equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, servo ventilators, and cardiac monitors. The assignment offers a chance to broaden your skills, handle a diverse patient population, and experience a vibrant community that boasts great local flavors and cultural events.
