Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse on a 14-week contract in Augusta, GA. You'll be caring for adult to geriatric patients with oncology diagnoses, including hematology issues and oncologic emergencies. Your responsibilities will include managing chemo precautions, administering morphine and dilaudid drips, and operating cadd and PCA pumps. The unit features 19 beds with an average daily census of 15, and you'll work in a collaborative environment utilizing Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. This role offers every other weekend shifts and floating within the facility, sometimes at Piedmont Augusta Summerville nearby. No call requirements are involved, but you'll be expected to work major holidays if they fall during your assignment.
