Job Description:

Join a vital team supporting the upcoming Epic implementation in a busy Emergency Department. This role requires proficiency with Cerner and Epic EMR systems, as you will assist in preparing the unit for a smooth go-live. Your responsibilities include quick and accurate triage of each patient, assessing their needs, and coordinating care pathways with other healthcare professionals. To stay sharp, you'll self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test in the first week—think of it as your emergency department badge of honor. While not on a regular call schedule, you may occasionally be asked to respond to low census periods, with a one-hour response time expected. No two days are exactly alike, making this a dynamic, fast-paced opportunity to engage in critical workflows in a supportive environment.
