Job Description:

Join our team as a Case Management Registered Nurse in Santa Barbara, where you'll oversee utilization management, discharge planning, and post-acute clinical payer authorization within an acute hospital setting. This role involves coordinating care for an adult patient population, focusing on optimizing patient outcomes while managing healthcare costs. You'll be responsible for ensuring quality care through the application of InterQual and Milliman guidelines, handling documentation in EPIC, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The assignment offers a Monday through Friday schedule with a 8-hour shift, providing a structured yet engaging environment that keeps you actively involved in patient care coordination, discharge preparation, and utilization review.
