Job Description:

Join a fast-paced inpatient surgical unit as a registered nurse, where you'll be tackling a variety of complex cases including neuro, orthopedic, abdominal, and general surgeries. This assignment offers the opportunity to work 12-hour day shifts in Quincy, Illinois, on a Med Surg/TELE floor with a patient load that keeps you engaged and challenged. Expect to handle primary care nursing duties, including managing PICC lines, TPN, Lipids, and pain control with narcotics. Your expertise in total joint procedures, PCA pumps, sepsis management, and immediate post-op care will be essential. Be prepared to collaborate with virtual admission and discharge nurses, and to interpret tele monitor strips. This role requires quick decision-making in a bustling environment where no two days are alike.
