Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Oncology RN for a contract assignment in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, you'll be working with adult to geriatric patients diagnosed with various oncologic conditions, including those with hematology diagnoses, DNR/CC preferences, and oncologic emergencies. Your responsibilities will involve managing oncology diagnoses from initial diagnosis through end-of-life care, administering chemo precautions, and operating complex equipment such as PCA pumps, morphine, dilaudid drips, and CADD pumps. This assignment offers a steady 12-hour day shift, with a chance to float within the facility and nearby at Piedmont Augusta Summerville. You'll experience firsthand the unique pace of oncology patient care in a hospital setting that values responsiveness and adaptability. The weekly workload averages around 36 hours, providing a balanced work experience focused on delivering compassionate, specialized care in a fast-paced environment.
